
This appointment is the last of the last CEO James Muir remodeling of its sales and market structure. Champagne, 43, will report directly to Mr. Muir. Muir took on the role of acting principal place of sales, when Jan-Henrik LaFrentz has left office on April 1 to become a member of the Board of Finance, Bentley VW unit. In 2009, the new Seat car sales fell 8.6% to 336,600 in the depth of the recession. In the first quarter of this year, sales of seats has increased by almost 55% to 91,000 passengers covering the Spanish car market. Prior to joining Seat, Champagne Toyota employees in Europe, where he developed his network of dealers in Europe over the past four years. He also held several executive positions in the sales department of PSA.
